Breakdown & Thoughts!!!!!!

For those who don't know, The Prelude of NBA 2k18 came out at midnight. Now before i give my thoughts for those who don't know A prelude is basically a late beta in theory, NBA 2k17 did it last year where you just played the college games it was pretty basic but this year was far different, The name the story gives you is DJ a pretty basic charterer at first but actually has some real personality which i am grateful for, The background of him is actually better and different than previous years You were a great basketball player who gave it up to be a DJ, Now you are trying to get noticed to be a walk on. You play 3 total street games and you get to pick the team that you will end tryout for, Now i tried out for the thunder as Paul George is my favorite player. Which you do a scrimmage with the bench and the starters also you have to get an agent and that dynamic between you and a shady agent i really enjoy. Now what did this accomplish? I don't think this is what will bring new fans in but this was way better than the NBA Live demo but i still saw some issues in games, It still is a bit clunky in some parts of the game but it has improved on making you feel like it is a important game, The shot meter being above you is different but i think in time mostly everyone will get used to it and prefer it, You cant upgrade your player yet which was rather annoying but i understand it. Now should you buy this or NBA Live is the popular question? As i have played both i will say NBA 2k is still way better and even after last year terrible game i still have more trust in 2k than i do in EA. It is a free download and if you like NBA games and want good graphics with decent game play this is for you .
